Belize-Taiwan Career Forum

"Belizeans for Belizeans"

The Belize Taiwan Association Representatives (BTAR) along with practicing Belizean professionals formed a Steering Committee to hold a Hybrid Career Forum in mid-July of 2023 and annually thereafter.
This initiative took take place in two time zones:
  • July 14th - July 15th from 6 pm to 10 pm (Belize)
  • July 15 - July 16th from 8 am to 12 pm (Taiwan)
The Steering Committee believes that creating a space that provides Belizeans in Taiwan an opportunity to connect with industry professionals will be beneficial for all involved in an effort to build connections and eventually build a better Belize.
To accommodate as many people as possible and encourage interaction,  this event was held first at:

Our Motivation

As practicing professionals, we believe that our knowledge and experience allows us to give back to the Belizean society, especially those newly graduated persons to have an easier transition from student to professional. In hindsight, this kind of initiative would have helped us as well to make a smoother transition. We are now in a position to make a positive difference for the younger generations and we are more than willing to lend a hand, or better said, impart some tried and true wisdom.
Belize can only grow stronger and advance faster if we all are better prepared. Thus, this space has been created to share the love and hope we have for a Better Belize.

Thank you in advance to all the persons who in one way or another made this event a success.
